It’s been said time and time again that every woman is unique and I truly believe that now more than ever. With every session I photograph I realize not only is each woman who reveals herself in front of my camera beautiful and special, but her aura is equally unique. It is a beautiful and magical thing to experience!

My team and I not only provide the full experience of hair and makeup to transform you from your everyday look to your dream look (whether that be a sexy vixen or romantic), but depending on the reason and the feeling of the shoot we create the atmosphere to your individual needs and desires.

Some women want to celebrate their body and play upbeat music while dancing around the room:

Amsterdam Boudoir

We chatted about travels, about London, about home. As she sat with a glass of champagne in her hand and gorgeous makeup to enhance her gorgeous eyes she giggled that her boyfriend was going to fall in love with her all over again! That’s what I like to hear! But most importantly I want her, and you, to know just how beautiful you are!

Boudoir in France

Back in October I had the pleasure of photographing 10 amazing women and am slowly revealing their sessions. I like to wait until they have received all of their images and product before I showcase my client’s images on the blog (if they want to be showcased) as most of the time their images are for someone else and I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

This beautiful and stunning woman is someone who inspired me to get back into my yoga routine. She is a yoga and nutritionalist and is completely dedicated to her lifestyle that she woke up every morning at 5:30 to mediate and wake her body – I love her for her dedication! After our boudoir session she returned back to the States, finished writing her story, and became a best-selling book author! Inspirational, I know!

She’s beautiful, amazingly fit due to her love for yoga, and has such a soft personality that I feel so blessed to have met her! I am so happy she has also allowed me to showcase her images, thank you!

Boudoir photography in France | Paris Photographie

I am so honoured and excited to feature this woman’s photos, her session took place during the Boudoir Party in the French Chateau! It’s a session I’ll cherish for a long time! Each boudoir session is tailored for them so that it is unique and personal for each women according to what they are wanting to embrace or embody. This gorgeous woman was all about accepting herself, her body, and celebrating it.

Her lingerie encompassed two different colours for two distinct stages, black for her old self and white for the new her. The way she explained it was that this boudoir session was as a marriage for herself. A ceremony of sorts. So we celebrated and filled the room with gorgeous grace, just for her.

Boudoir in France and sensuality

At the Château in France she walked into the room, full of beauty and sensuality as you would expect an Argentinian woman would do. It was intoxicating to see how she exuded it all and fully embraced herself and her body. She wasn’t ashamed to say she loved herself!

It’s not very often I meet women like this. We’re afraid to draw attention to ourselves or that we’ll look selfish in wanting to indulge, so we end up hiding our sensual side away. Somehow we’ve taught ourselves that being more introvert in our own self wants and more extrovert for others is the way to live through life. That somehow as women, this is how we’re supposed to act.

I believe differently and thankfully this Argentinian beauty agreed with me! Being a woman means embracing the gifts, curves, feelings, and sensuous desires of our body. And I know, it’s hard to do. We are in constant battle between what to wear, something that complements our body or sweats, to pick up our children from school. Do we spend 5 extra minutes doing our hair or throw it up to go to the market, cause who is going to see us anyway. Why purchase another piece of lace or satin to wear to bed, he won’t notice or it will just end up on the floor.

It’s about embracing your sensuality for no one else’s benefit but your own! If you haven’t done anything sensual for yourself recently, you better start! And as cliché as it is, booking a boudoir session is a great start!

Boudoir and Writing

If you’ve been following this blog for awhile, you know this happens often. If you’re new here, let me fill you in. I go through phases, quite often with my writing. I go through these crazy “I want to write and tell you about everything” phase where I cannot seem to get enough of writing or blogging and tend to fill up my blog with post after post. And then, I got through another phase of “I’m not too sure if I have anything to say, my brain feels dead”. Can you guess which one I’m in right now?

Probably can’t, cause I’m not too sure which one I’m sitting in right now. I think I haven’t fully decided which side I want to be in, but I do know I want to write more.

So guess what I did today?! I signed up for 750words.com! It’s challenging me to write, every day, 750 words! I don’t know if I have any time in my day for this, but I love writing and figure this will help me keep me motivated! Today is my first day and it took awhile to write, but once I got there, I ended up writing a blog post as well! I think this is going to work out wonderfully!

However, as much as you enjoy my writing I know you come here more for the photos, so here is a photo from the Boudoir Party in The Hague last week! The room, the gorgeous girl, the totally sexy couture lingerie and the awesome lighting makes me love this image!

Healing the exposed | Boudoir Photography in France

Recently I had the pleasure of traveling to France to photograph some amazing boudoir sessions in a beautiful chateau! It has been one of the top 10 highlights of my life, actually probably the top 5 highlights of my life to date!

This amazing and beautiful woman was the first one to walk into the suite we were photographing in and she totally set the tone of the day. Yes, she was nervous but by the end of the shoot our emotions were unleashed and some tears were shed over the honest to goodness amazing experience we shared together. I thank her endlessly for the opportunity to photograph her! She pushed my passions further while I helped her heal the exposed. She let me share this photograph with you as well as the email she shared with me as the rest of her images are for her alone but I will cherish them forever!

Meet Miss Elena and her wonderful experience!

“The boudoir shoot was a healing for me.. I felt very comfortable from the start. I came into the room in a bit of a protective costume and left the room with very little on and an acceptance of myself in a way I had not expected. I felt as Lesley was taking the pictures and clicking away that she was waiting for me to reveal my essence.. she was waiting for me to shine through the costume… she was waiting for me to really enter the room. She kept telling me to breathe and the french music was so lovely… She kept telling me to close my eyes and feel my self in the room. The music, the beauty of France and the sheer elegance of the chateau all around me..all this helped to disarm my protective energy At one point I thought.. “My god I nursed three kids in public… some even on line at Walmart.. I can do this.. I can let go a bit.. this my body… I know I feel beautiful inside but I am tired of not seeing it.” And then Lesley caught it. We both new it. She moved her head to the right of the camera and said.. “Oh Yeah!!! ” She came over to me and said.. “there.. there you are.. look”…. And in that small square screen there I was.. There was the light shining from me. There was the light, warm, alive, pink and gold radiating off my skin. There was the wild hair, the soft knowing smile, the wise mischievous off set eyes, my body strong and alive. And though once thinner and once younger, its always been curvy, always sensual, always there for me, always loving, always willing, always there for others. There I was.. me all along.. I don’t know why but I just couldn’t really see it from inside out.. I needed to see if from the outside in. There I was.. me.. in dimension.. through that magical lens…and Lesley’s magical gifted eyes…

Something shifted in that instant.. a gentleness came over me.. grace, kindness, forgiveness, unconditional attention. Since coming home it feels different in my skin.. I have this new place I stand from.. I feel embodied …in my body.. in my strong, radiant. ever changing, ever loving body. I thought “wow.. if this is what it feels like to get a glimpse of me.…what would happen if I really took it all in at long last.” Since then I have been working on allowing for that..and it feels good… me feeling me in this body at last , me accepting myself in a brand new way at last and me in the room now in a way that I have never been before.”

What is a Boudoir Party | Miss S Boudoir | Amsterdam

Remember how I mentioned that I was hosting a Boudoir Experience (aka Boudoir Party) at The Haagsche Suites in The Hague next month? Well, a few people have asked what exactly a Boudoir Party is so I thought I’d share a little bit more about what to expect, what to look forward to, as well as share some images from Miss S session at the last Boudoir Party that was hosted at my studio in Den Bosch. Thank you Miss S for letting me feature your images, you are truly gorgeous!

Do I need to be a VIP to participate? Nope, not at all! Anyone can participate if there are spots remaining, the sign up list just makes sure you’re an Adley Studio VIP so that you are notified of the upcoming Boudoir Experiences, parties, and promotions that we’ll have running in the future!

What is a Boudoir Experience, is it like a party or a boudoir Marathon? Exactly, only I’m calling it an Experience! A Boudoir Experience is an event where multiple boudoir sessions are photographed on a single day in the same beautiful location. By providing several Boudoir Experiences in one day we are able to offer a fantastic setting at a great price. Essentially it’s an experience of embracing passions and dreams, while celebrating your femininity. And that is where the party comes in. We have a great time together and have fun the whole time you’re with us!

Will there be other people in the room? Other than the people who will be pampering you and getting you ready for your photo shoot, no. This is an individual session where we make sure you are having the best time ever!

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled boudoir session so that you have time to relax and enjoy the lounge before your session! You need to block off at least 2 hours of your day to spend with us, as your session will start in the make-up chair where Katie will help enhance your best features, and then once you’re done you’ll come hang out with me and my assistant for an hour for your boudoir session. After you’re done you’re more than welcome to hang out in the Lounge and chat with the other women there or go out for dinner to show off your new found confidence!

I’m not too sure what to wear, I have nothing in my closet! No need to worry about that, once you’ve selected the time you’d like to have your session I will send you all the clothing recommendations and inspiration that you’ll need to go shopping for!

I really want to do this, but I’m not sexy! This is where I come in! I will help guide you into positions that flatter your body and your personality, I don’t expect you to know how to pose or be sexy, I’m the expert in that!

You’re more than welcome to bring a friend to the hotel, however they will have to stay in the lounge while you’re being pampered and having your session. This will help you focus on yourself, which is the whole point of your boudoir session!

Do my photos have to go online? Adley Studio respects each one of our client’s privacy and only showcases images from clients who want their images featured! But most women love the experience so much that they ask to be featured so they can show all their friends. But since it is such an intimate experience, I leave that up to you to decide.

Boudoir Experience in The Hague | Boudoir Party Marathon

After meeting with the owner of The Haagsche Suites I knew I had the perfect venue! We agreed on the date and along with Katie, my wonderful makeup artist, we’re thrilled to announce the first ever Boudoir Experience in The Hague!

And just in case you’d like some more information as to what exactly the Boudoir Experience is, please read on!

What is a Boudoir Experience, is it like a party or a boudoir Marathon? Exactly, only I’m calling it an Experience! Essentially it’s an experience of embracing passions and dreams, while celebrating your femininity. And that is where the party comes in. We have a great time together and have fun the whole time you’re with us!

How does it work exactly? How long will this take? You need to block off at least 2 hours of your day to spend with us, as your session will start in the make-up chair where Katie will help enhance your best features, and then once you’re done you’ll come hang out with me and my assistant for an hour for your boudoir session. Boudoir Photos with Mystery | Netherlands Boudoir

She arrived in the Boudoir Suite with a large suit case full of clothing. Sexy pieces of lingerie, stockings, shoes, and even a beautiful Venetian mask. She wanted to entice and play with mystery. Boudoir sessions don’t have to be about showing your beautiful face, it can be playing the mysterious women!
