Christmas Wish List | Sexy Lingerie and high heels

Christmas is my favourite time of the year! Every year when September arrives I start counting down, in October I’m usually playing Christmas music and beginning of November I start planning how I’m going to decorate our home and wrap presents! Other than me counting down and starting playing Christmas music in October, this year is going to be different for us. We’re not decorating our home (as all our decorations are packed in boxes in Vancouver) because we’ll be enjoying Christmas in Austria and Christmas doesn’t truly feel like Christmas unless you’re surrounded by your family.

I’m excited that we’ll be experiencing Christmas in Austria this year, sipping on Gluhwein, walking through Christmas markets, and hopefully seeing some snow!

But since Christmas isn’t Christmas without making a wish list, here is mine! I won’t receive anything on it due to the fact that Santa doesn’t have an unlimited budget and we’ve keeping our gifts small this year…but just in case.

But tell me, what is on your Christmas Wish List this year?!

Lipstick on my Wacom Tablet

I completely missed October Love List, but to be honest I couldn’t think of anything! I was way too busy with shoots and travelling and figured why push something that wasn’t even there to begin with?! However, it was the complete opposite for November, narrowing it down to just four items was really difficult! But I think these are my top Love Lists for this month!

  • Russian Red Lipstick! When I am rushing around and don’t have time to do my full make-up regime (which really isn’t all that long to begin with) I slip on some of this wonderful smelling lipstick and a sweep of black eye-liner and I can leave my house feeling confident and sexy!
  • My Wacom Tablet! I received this as a Christmas gift a few years back but between moving houses then continents it got left behind in the shuffle. This summer it was brought over with one of our visitors and it’s given me a piece of my life back when it comes to editing! It’s seamless now and I love it!
  • Barcelona! You already know my bags are always packed for our next travel adventure, and this month we’re heading to Barcelona! First I’m spending 3 days in a Workshop with Mike Larson and then we’re catching a flight south. It will be the perfect place to let my ideas flourish and breathe in new inspiration!
  • Luxury Hotels and pampering my fabulous clients! I cannot wait for the Boudoir Party Experience happening next week and the lavish experience we’ll have at the Haagsche Suites!

What are your love lists for November?

4 things I love for September | Love Lists

The date on the Calendar is already reading the middle of September, how can this be?! Is it just me that feels like the year just started, yet we only have 3 and a half months left ?!

The summer that never was is already releasing to the crisp cool mornings of fall, and I’m really looking forward to bundling up into thick knit sweaters and my new fall boots that I picked up in London last week! I think I’ll also start my countdown to Christmas, it’s my favourite holiday and I look forward to it every year!

So this months Love Lists consist of New fall boots, Pinterest for inspiration, cooking delicious soups and meals and wearing beautiful and seductive tights from Walford!
What are you adoring about the month of September?!

Love Lists: August 2011

It’s hard to belive we’re almost half way through August, seriously where has this year gone, let alone the summer? Mister and I have been hosting family members, doing some traveling and just enjoying visiting new cities around the Netherlands. Inspite of the crap weather we’ve received this summer, I found lots of comfort in watching my favourite movies like Pride & Prejudice (the original!) while cuddling under a blanket, checking out inspiration on the Kate Spade website, learning new ways to wear scarfs, and of course dressing up. Since working from home my level of dress has significanltly dropped, so I’m working on dressing up more!

What are you love lists for August, anything you find beautiful and comforting?

Love Lists: July!

  • While living here in Europe, I quickly found out that receiving passport stamps was not something I was going to quickly collect, as they don’t give them out! I almost cried! Yet, on our recent trip to London, I got Two! I almost kissed the border guard I was so happy.
  • Paris, anything and everything about it. Even if the sidewalks are really dirty, there are buskers everywhere, and the French can be rude; I love it more and more! If you haven’t clicked the image above, don’t delay!
  • Luxerious shoes, I believe every girl should have at least one pair of shoes in their closet. I have my eye on a couple of pairs that I want to add to my collection.
  • While in Paris, we searched for the best lattes. We found 3 contenders: Kooka Boora / Le Bal Café / Coutume Café

Love Lists: June 2011 | Amazon, Iphone App, Skype and Waffles

As I mentioned in my last post, I mentioned that I’ll be doing mini series, every Tuesday of the month, with each one being on a different topic. Welcome to the first one; Love Lists! Here I’ll show you what I’ve found myself addicted to over the past month, and hopefully you’ll share with me what you’ve been addicted to.

1) Amazon. When we moved to the Netherlands, I brought 5 books with me, and finished them within the first 2 weeks. With the exception of one. Since then, I’ve been craving a book in my hands. To smell the pages, to feel the paper, to soak up words. Last month I created a wish list of books that I wanted to devour, and I finally had a chance to purchase them. They won’t come till later this month, but I can’t wait! So Amazon, I thank you for having books available and shipping them to my door!

2) This amazing OPI iPhone app. It’s not a stellar looking application, but it has every single OPI colour in there so you can see what it will look like! I love having my nails painted, and like to change colours often so I love having this on my phone, even if it’s only to keep myself entertained while on the train.

3) Skype. It’s a great way to stay in contact with friends and family back home as well as have quick chats with new friends here. I will be working away, and suddenly get a notification that someone wants to chat, and it instantly brings a smile to my face. Working from home can be very lonely, but this helps me feel connected, loved. Add me onto skype if you’d like to chat: lesleystefanski

4) Last month, Mister and I got to spend a little over 24 glorious hours in Belgium. We had a wonderful time photographing a wedding, touring the city, and of course finding some waffles for me to try. Oh gosh, I’m addicted. They are like anything I’ve ever had, and I cannot wait to go back to try more!

So, tell me, what things did you fall in love with?! What do you think of my mini series?
