Maternity: Christina + Russ
When someone emails me out of the blue and writes to tell me that they’ve been referred and they’d like to get photos, well this just makes me smile. Christina + Russ were one of the couples that wanted to get some maternity photos taken before their little one entered the world, and that made me jump for joy.
I met them on a very sunny Sunday afternoon in Vancouver and we chatted as we made our way to a very busy park. There are lots of elements that I love about my job, but I have to say my most favourite is having the chance to watch and photograph people’s relationships. And when we finally made it to the park, this is what I saw:
Russ adores Christina, he is gentle and loving to her; giving her little glances of security and happiness. And Christina gives it all back in return - with a soft sweetness.
Russ, did you hear something in there?!
