Newborn Photography: Georgina, Mirek + Natasha

This loving family was referred to me by a mutual friend, who originally told me about them cause they own this amazing computer store on Cambie Street in Vancouver and they sell the coolest laptop bags.  I couldn’t be happier that finally had a chance to meet after scouring their online store for my dream laptop bag. (I know, that was a lot of links, but you have to at least give the store a little love!)

Georgina and Mirek originally wanted to get maternity photos done, but on the day of our scheduled session, I was informed by Mirek they wouldn’t be able to make it - Natasha wasn’t going to wait any longer and wanted to meet her loving parents.  I received a wonderful email a few weeks later from Georgina with the subject reading: So Much Happiness!  Natasha had arrived healthy and happy and I knew Georgina and Mirek were already head over heels in love and I couldn’t wait to meet them all.

“Natasha greeted the world with a head of dark hair, bright wide-eyes, and her mouth open like a baby bird searching for her food” Georgian and Mirek explained to me while I gazed into her dark wide eyes and cute rosebud lips.  She is a stunner, and with her head of hair she looks so more like a little person than newborns usually do.

So, without any further ado, meet Georgina, Mirek + Natasha:

The setting on the left is where Georgina has spent a lot of time looking out the window watching the seasons change while dreaming of her growing baby, the future, and her new life.  The photo on the left, you can see Natasha is wide-eyed and searching for food, only this time in the wrong place.

When I arrive at a session I like to look around the location we’ve decided on and see where the best place to take photos will be.  And sometimes I see a spot that will be perfect, will make an awesome photo, and I can see hanging on the wall of your house.  Once I saw their couch I knew instantly that I wanted to take a photo like this.  Georgina and Mirek, oh please take one the photos of her on your couch put it on a canvas and hang it right above your fabulous green couch!
