Pride + Joy: Miss Ariel

After doing a maternity shoot with Erin + Joel a couple of weeks ago, their little bundle of joy decided to meet her parents.

Ariel was 9 days old when I got to take her photograph. When I saw her I couldn’t get over how beautiful and small she was. and so alert!  We tried to get her to go to sleep so we could get some cute photos of her all curled up in a ball, but she would have none of it; she wanted to be in on all the action.

Erin + Joel, thank you once again for letting me take your photos, and also of your new baby girl.  She is beautiful, congrats!

There is something about this photo that makes me go “awww”.
