Thanksgiving

It’s thanksgiving, which means meeting up with family members who we don’t see that often for a fun family dinner, not feeling bad for wrapping yourself up in a blanket and a tea after your turkey dinner, and then asking if you could be rolled home after said dinner. Oh I love this time of year!

There has been a lot going on at Adley Studio and in our personal lives. I’ve been feeling lately like I’ve been running at top speed non-stop with my feet going one way, my body staying stationary, and then my head turning the opposite direction of my feet; it makes for some pretty crazy days! Oh I love this time of year!

In spite of everything that is going on, I thought I would take a moment to list some things I’m thankful for:

  • A house and a home that I love coming back to
  • Food and water that is available no matter when I might want it
  • A husband who loves me dearly and takes care of me, even when I can’t open the pasta sauce jar. Who will listen to all my crazy ideas and then tells me to think rationally before I start jumping at all of them.  He keeps me grounded.  Who supports me and encourages me to go after my dreams, and keeps asking me how I’m going to achieve them.  He’s my cheerleader…lol..that’s a funny visual.
  • A job that I love!  Seriously it makes me so happy to carry a camera in my hand.  The other night Adam and I needed to test some equipment out but I just felt too tired to even move but he got me moving and holding the camera in no time.  Once it was in my hands and I heard the shutter click I instantly felt a smile spread across my face. I love this job!
  • That all of my family is alive and well, this is very important
  • That we have the ability to think and say what we want with no fear, we are truly blessed
  • That I have a very comfortable bed that I crawl into every single night with blankets to keep me warm

Here are some photos from our testing night!
