I had hoped to update my blog with photos and interesting tid bits of information while we were away, but our traveling laptop is pretty much only good for checking email and writing documents; not editing photos. So sadly enough I had to go with out.
Once we arrived back in Vancouver I quickly came to the realization that summer is slowly giving way to fall. There is a part of me is hoping it’s all a lie and that the sun will continue to shine with it’s hot intensity and longer days, but the other side of me is excited for sweaters, boots, gray clouds, and nights spent cuddled on the couch. While I was thinking of the leaves slowly changing colours and the fleeting light I realized that I had a session sitting in my ‘digital darkroom’ that I never got a chance to finish editing.

These last three are my top favorite I think. Although I do love the first one just as much.

This is one of my best friends Kelly, and I love her to pieces and love that she is always up for anything.
For those of you who are thinking of booking a session but are afraid that the fall and winter isn’t a good time for portraits, think again! The skies are dramatic, nature is colourful, and you get to layer like you’ve never layered before!
